  We had the blackened catfish. It was phenomenal with the homemade tartar sauce to top it off. We had gumbo for one of our sides and I'm telling you what it was to die for. The service was great but they weren't that busy. We will definitely be going back again

  Shorty Pants is my favorite place to eat in the LOTO area. Been a handful of times this season alone and nothing disappoints. My favorite is the Fried Catfish, but the Jambalaya, red beans n' rice and Gumbo are all spot on. The portions are generous so come hungry or share with friends. With being right on the water and great ambiance at night, this is a great place to get some excellent food, grab some drinks with friends or even come out with your family during the day. My granddaughter loves the ducks when we come out. Definitely recommend.

  I wanted to eat here so bad last night and we waited for 30 minutes after being seated and never had a server come to the table. I wanted to try them but I wasn’t willing to deal with the lack of service so I left

  Mediocre service, but great food! I got the blackened shrimp, highly recommend. They have a gluten free menu and are celiac friendly.

  They offer great regional/cajun-y fare. Nicely fried shrimp po-boy and green fried tomatoes. Also a nice variety of Deep Eddy, etc cocktails. Thin Mint blended drink was good. Staff are also very very attentive and helpful.
