When I arrived, I received three of the four items I ordered, but the 3-piece chicken strip was missing. When I spoke with the manager, he told me that I had already used my points for the 3-piece chicken strips that day and tried to tell me that I had to use the points before August 26. I explained that I was in the drive-thru line on August 26 and had placed the order that same evening. I was very frustrated because he continued to argue with me as though I was being dishonest about placing the order. The conversation went on for several minutes before I was finally able to pull up the order on my phone and show him that I had placed the order at 7:19 PM. We were still sitting in the drive-thru line at approximately 7:30 PM, so there was absolutely no way I could have used those points at another location or earlier that day. To keep the line moving, my husband initially paid for the 3-piece chicken strips while I was trying to locate the order number. Once I found the order and showed it to them, we were reimbursed for the chicken strips. What bothered me most was not the missing food—it was being treated as though I was lying when I knew exactly what I had ordered. I have never experienced this type of customer service at this restaurant before. A manager should be willing to listen to a customer and check the order information before arguing with them. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not be returning to this particular location. Customers should not have to prove that they are telling the truth when the information can be verified in the system. Not every customer is lying, and I hope management takes this situation seriously and addresses how customers are treated.
