Nick the owner and his management staff not only make the best smoked meats and sides- they also have the best customer service you will ever experience! My team at Amusement Connect use Hawg Jaw for all our BBQ catering needs and come in for lunch all the time, and we are just are blown away by how wonderful they always are. Cheers Nick and Staff! Thank you for always taking great care of us!

Good food, pleasant staff Heard them advising someone nicely on what they might enjoy without the hard sell. Instead of what name should we put on your order she asked What's your name honey? Staff also guided me to the best price option for what I ordered. Appreciate that. Smoked ketchup is great.

Outstanding BBQ! Excellent burnt ends— big chunks with crusty edges and great flavor. Brisket was tender, served as very thin slices. Sauces are on the side so you can pick the one you like best. We tried them all of course, all good but liked the sweet one best (Kansolina). Staff is very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back! When you go, look for the mural on the side of the building; entrance is on the street.

Great little hole-in-the-wall local spot; I would come back. I liked it better than Jack Stack or Slaps, definitely less commercial than those. Seems family owned with a rustic but clean interior. There are a couple big tables to accommodate larger groups. The burnt ends tasted excellent, however, IMO, when it comes to brisket burnt ends I expect a little more crisp texture on the bark. The appearance of the burnt ends appeared squishy and the texture matched the look but smoke flavor was there. The smoked sausage was underwhelming, but I didn’t have high expectations as that’s not one of their specialties. I would get the ribs the next time I come. I liked their sauces, but they are all pretty sweet. Even the spicy one was sweet, although I didn’t think it was spicy, it definitely had more flavor than the others. The sides I enjoyed were A+++; I had the burnt ends chili and the bbq beans. There was a good amount of meat in each of the sides. I’m not a drinker, but it appeared that most of their brew selection, about 2 dozen choices, were cans and bottles.

Let me start that this review is for a to-go. I got home after driving 45 minutes and put it in the oven for 5 minutes before eating. I got the 2 meat plate with brisket and the Italian sausage, my sides where bbq beans and Mac n cheese. Also ordered the BBQ wonton. First the wonton are a little greasy and they forgot the dipping sauce but the the flavor was good. The burnt ends and the onions are a great flavor. I dipped it in the mild bbq so it was good. The brisket was the lean cut and it was dry. Maybe I should have asked for the moist cut, will do that next time. Not a big smoke flavor on it. The sausage was one of the 2 best parts of my meal. Very flavor full and sliced very thin. I put half of it in the bread I got with it and man that was good. The other best item was the beans! Big chunks of burnt ends and flavorful. Again not a big smoke flavor but it was good. The Mac n cheese was a let down. Not sure why people use penne for it but that's their thing. Not a lot of flavor at all. The 2 ladies helping me at the counter where very nice. I will give them another shot when I can dine in. If you dont want a deep smoke flavor this spot is for you.
