  Bringing the kid back from College we stop in Liberty Missouri for a early dinner and to celebrate her Freshman year being done ( went fast) Wife and I both had the half slab of ribs and salad . Daughter had the roasted shrimp artichoke pasta all was fantastic. Side salads were fresh. Service was fantastic 👏

  Mother’s Day weekend wasn’t crowded. We had reservations and were sat fairly quickly. Our waitress Gracie was the best part of our experience at Saltgrass in Liberty. She knew her stuff and was very friendly. Party of three and we ordered chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak and I ordered an 8 oz sirloin. My steak was well done when I asked for medium well expecting pink but no blood. Disappointed. The salad I ordered with this I requested the dressing on the side but it had been dumped on top of it and enough for 3 salads. My Mr had the chicken fried steak and said it tasted good but barely any gravy on top of it and none on his mashed potatoes; he had to ask for more in a bowl to have enough. My mom had the chicken fried chicken. She enjoyed the tasted but the breading kept falling off of every bite. She too did not have the amount gravy you would expect with this meal. She (88yrs old)did not enjoy the atmosphere stating the music was too loud. In my personal opinion each of them should have been offered two sides for the price of the dish not just the one. It ended up being $100+ for three subpar meals. We all said after our first time experience at Saltgrass in Liberty wasn’t worth it; we will not return. Waitstaff was great though. Going forward we’ll go to Texas Roadhouse, Hereford House or even Outback Steakhouse.

  Made a reservation for my anniversary and left a message about it. Our anniversary was never acknowledged, but our waitress was very nice. The food was subpar at best. My husband liked his ribeye but said it wasn't seasoned enough. My strip was very tough and stringy, not a good example of a strip steak at all. The grilled onions were basically liquid. The only saving grace was the good pineapple margarita. The cheesecake was very crumbly and not very well made. Definitely left feeling like I spent way too much money on a disappointing dinner.

  Tara was our waitress.....fantastic lady. Welcomed us and explained the menu (first time visitors). Checked on us many times. I ordered bacon wrapped filet and shrimp. Didn't get the shrimp, asked about it and she said I had to ask specially for the shrimp and she didn't hear me ask. Anyway, steak had more gristle than I expected. Overall flavors were fantastic. Bread delivered unexpectedly, everything made in house is very impressive. Hot foods hot, and cold foods cold. Music a little loud for my taste. If it wasn't so pricey, I would visit again. (Had gift cards this time)

  First time here and we will be back for sure. Everything was great from start to finish. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and food came out quickly. Our server was Shelli, and she is exactly the kind of server you want. She was friendly, quick, made helpful suggestions without being pushy. Food was fantastic. You get fresh bread to start, but not the fill you up kind. Steaks were cooked exactly as we ordered them and everything from salads to sides was fresh and tasty. They have a well stocked bar. In additional to the usual things that everyone has, the cocktails on the menu were unique and a little different. It was good to try something new.
