  The food was very good, my sister’s salmon was a bit over cooked but was still really good. My daughter and I shared the lobster ravioli that was delicious. 🤌 The salads were pretty yummy. 😋 The garlic knots were very Italian 🇮🇹 and made it 10x better than it already was. Our waitress was really nice and took the time to tell us about the restaurants history. 😊I would definitely recommend coming here, and would come back! 😃

  I have been on a never ending quest to find an authentic, family owned and operated Italian restaurant and I have found it. The chicken marsala was insanely good because the sauce was perfect taste and consistency. Dibi came to the table and really crushed it. Nothing better than a restaurant that truly appreciates your business. So, Mike from Florida totally approves of your place and we will be back sooner rather later. Great Job Bella's

  Wife and I ate here for the first time yesterday and we left extremely satisfied. Staff was friendly and prompt, and as others have pointed out, Dibi is awesome. We arrived shortly before dinner rush so we saw the evening crew arrive for their shift. I noticed Dibi personally greeting every single one of them as they came in - often with a high five - so it's no wonder that they were all so pleasant. Right before more guests were arriving, we saw a few servers going around wiping down seats and tables. This was another small detail that really stood out to us, because it showed that they care about the customer having a great experience (which we certainly did). They were also setting up the back area for a birthday party, which looked quite nice. As for the food, it was fantastic. The garlic cheese bread was a proper appetizer: it was light, crispy, and delicious, without being too filling to make it harder to enjoy the main course (the same can be said about the rolls, but we just had to try the cheese bread, too). The chicken parmigiana that I had was perfect. The chicken was very tender and flavorful, and their marinara sauce is my new favorite. The ratio of everything was spot on, too. Sometimes you run out of chicken or spaghetti before the last few bites, but that was not the case here. Every bite, down to the last one, had a perfect blend of all the ingredients. While KC is known for its BBQ, there are plenty of very good family-owned Italian restaurants in the area on both sides of the state line. Bella's is right up there with the best of them, and we will gladly make the 30-minute trip to visit again!

  I came here on April 29, 2026 for a second date. It was a Wednesday night so the place was a little slow which was perfect for us. Our server, Takine, could not have been more polite and attentive. While tempted by the appetizers I noticed that meals included both salad and bread. I ordered the nightly special which was a Mediterranean pasta that featured shrimp, chicken, mushrooms, Greek olives and an olive oil sauce. It was fantastic. My date got the chicken marseille and she loved it. We had no need for dessert as our portions were large enough that we both took home leftovers. And while we both had two drinks our bill was under $100 with a reasonable tip (I tipped more than reasonable as everything was so good).   Great salad/dressing & the garlic knots were amazing! The lasagna was a tad disappointing - a bit on the soupy side for me and mostly hamburger (I prefer more Italian sausage). I like my lasagna tall & firm (several layers), my particular serving was more flat, cheesy with a generous portion of sauce. Flavor wise for the sauce I'd give it a 6 out of 10. I totally understand there are several different tradition styles. The seating area was large and could accommodate both large and smaller groups. Not necessarily cozy or intimate (at least where we were sitting). No table cloth, but the candles were nice. We had reservations but they weren't necessary. It was very clean. The music was nice and appropriate for an Italian dinner atmosphere. The prices were very good and the portions were just right. The service was very prompt & friendly. I would definitely go back, but will try a different main course.
