  Food good but the brisket has too much fat—noticed this the last few times —switched to turkey-and the sausage really has no flavor without sauce

  The meat was good, the sides were not to my liking, the cheesy corn was runny, the baked beans was not what I expected, the servers were not helpful with food choices, the food didn't look appetizing, the atmosphere was mediocre

  We ordered brisket sandwich, ribs, macaroni and cheese, and cheesy corn. Ribs were great, brisket was very flavorful, but very fatty. We would have enjoyed it more if it was more meat, less fat. The meat does not have sauce on it (which is what we prefer) but there were 3 bottles of their sauces on the tables. We liked the Ozark Sauce. Stopped here for lunch on a Friday, not too busy, clean, friendly staff. Looks to be having some construction done to the building inside. We were so hungry when we stopped, we forgot to take pictures.

  Your 'meat master extraordinare' is the most polite, gentlemanly person named Eddie. He treats all people with the greatest respect and to see him with the meat in the kitchen, its clear he treats the meat the same as people. Just walk in and smell that cooking. I don't need to describe it for you. You'll know for yourself immediately how much love is there, from start to finish, made from scratch, the love and care that goes into all this food from Eddie and the whole staff. The location is off the beaten path but not out of the way at all. Let your olfactory senses run wild inside this door. Eddie and the staff have it all waiting for you, respectfully!
