For as long as I can remember, the smell of something baking in the oven has meant joy, comfort, and connection. I’ve always loved sharing smiles through homemade treats — it’s how I celebrate milestones, encourage friends, and show love. When my children graduated and left for college, our home grew quieter and my schedule opened up. Around the same time, I retired from my career — and suddenly, I had the gift of time to finally pursue a dream I’d carried for years. Empty Nest Eggs & Foods to Share with Friends was born out of that new season of life: a way to fill my empty nest with creativity, community, and purpose.
