Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
About a specific team member: The employee I interacted with today was extremely professional, kind, and went above and beyond to put a smile on my face. Great customer service is rare, especially in the fast food industry. Thanks again, Clarice! :)

Typical fast food these days. Food was cold and the service was cold. First and last time going here. We don't eat fast food often, but, regret it everytime we try.

It's Whataburger... If you know, you know. If you don't, it's an above average drive through/dine-in burger place. The original cheeseburgers were prepared as requested, brought to our table fresh from the grill and tasted great. The staff were friendly and helpful, the prices ok ($21 for 2 combo meals), and the restaurant mostly clean. The men's restroom could have used a bit of attention, but that is the fault of men who don't please to aim and was still cleaner than most fast food restaurants I've been in.

Ooof, rough visit- I came for burgers, not a live episode of Kitchen Nightmares meets middle school lunch room... The employees seemed annoyed, the staff was loudly cussing, and I was even given ketchup packets that were already open and leaking.😵💫 My food came out cold, and the restroom looked like it had survived a natural disaster🤢overflowing trash, toilet paper everywhere even trailing out the bathroom, and generally disgusting conditions.
Everyone has off days, but this experience was pretty shameful. Hoping this location can get things cleaned up and turned around.

Whataburger is just not as good as I remember. We're out of town, so we decided to see if Kansas Whataburgers are faster... And they are MUCH faster than the ones in Amarillo. Doesn't make sense, but they are. in Amarillo, everyone knows that if you are wanting Whataburger to plan accordingly... Bring a book or a friend or something to do while you wait. I have literally sat in line for 45 minutes waiting for my food. And that's par for Amarillo. Kansas in the other hand was just as fast as if we had gone to any other fast food restaurant. Used to be Whataburger was worth the wait, so we thought we would be getting great burgers FASTER in Kansas.... But it was not to be.
Dry meat, bread breaking apart like it was old, and soggy fries. And I ordered the burger + mayo, Xtra mayo... All it had on it was mayo, and very little. Turns out they just aren't what they used to be whether you have to wait or not. I remember a juicy, backyard burger experience... Now I could almost get a better burger microwaved at a gas station. Sadness.
