- TJThunder J1 day ago3.0It was a solid 6.5 for me, the burnt ends and pork belly were tender but the serving size was smaller then expected. Only came with one style of BBQ sauce and the coleslaw tasted exactly like KFCs. It did come out quick and the server was very nice. But the the portion size could have been bigger and could have offered your BBQ sauce you have for sale when you walk through the door as an option to try with your meal.
- KHKim Hopkins3 days ago5.0First time visiting Smokehouse Barbecue in Zona Rosa. Went for lunch today with a friend. I ordered the appetizer macaroni and cheese topped with burnt ends (I'm not a big eater). The meal came and when I bit into it, the mac and cheese was not warm. It wasn't refrigerator cold but not warm. The burnt ends were though, so I didn't say anything until the waiter came back to check on our meal. I mentioned that the mac and cheese wasn't warm and he might mention it to the kitchen, but I had already eaten a sizable portion and was ok with it. He soon returned with another full plate of warm mac and cheese and burnt ends (over my objections) and took 40% off my bill and gave my friend another order or onion rings. The waiter was very attentive the entire time. I feel they went above and beyond making up for the mac and cheese, which by the way, was delicious. I will return to this venue and recommend it to all my friends.
