Pierre was our waiter and he was awesome as were other staff that took care of us. From the wine, to the amuse bouche, escargot, lobster bisque, grouper, pork medallions, ribs, tajine, creme brulee, and chocolate mousse, finishing with a chocolate truffle, it was an amazing experience that we will have again! The baked brie, though, was a disappointment — doughy pastry and barely‑melted cheese that lacked the indulgence you expect from the dish. The entrées were stronger: the ribeye was tender and flavorful, the pork medallions nicely done, and the trout stood out with its accompanying compote. The ahi tuna was just average. Dessert redeemed things — the lemon blueberry bread pudding with ice cream was excellent. Overall, Le Fou Frog delivers some memorable plates, but the inconsistency keeps it from being a clear standout.
