  My brother & I attempted to dine here for a birthday lunch a couple of Sundays ago. When we entered, the sign read to seat yourself, so we made our way to the only open table that had just two gentleman sitting on one end. Those two gentleman told us we couldn’t sit there, which confused us, as the website says communal seating. We asked an employee if there was any available seating (we’ve never been in before, wasn’t sure if there was another dining room.) I did let her know we attempted to sit at the only open table but were told by the patrons we couldn’t. The employee informed us “yeah, they’re regulars, they can do that.” Seemed odd and a bit hypocritical to their own communal seating policy but the employee was nice about it, at least. Unfortunately, the bar seats were full, including multiple small children, which we also found odd and a bit inappropriate. A less than welcoming experience all around and probably won’t be back, it just left a bad taste in our mouths.

  Gosh dang their beer tastes like real beer. Made of ingredients! Yumm. Ingredients! The dunkel makes me feel funkel.

  Food and Bier were both excellent. But the service was really outstanding. We had our dog with us, so we had to sit outside. Often that means slow to no service. But we were greeted right away by a friendly young man who brought water for the pup along with our menus. The staff work as a team, so when our server ordered our beers on his handheld device, he was barely out of our sight before another server arrived with them. Beer was delicious, ice cold, and refilled right away by friendly folks who kept the table cleared and brought our food and condiments promptly as well. We would visit again for another delicious beer and yummy doner kebab but would return often for the exemplary service.
