  The ambiance at this place is so nice! Firstly you’re greeted by the shop dog! — super friendly and cute btw! Cute little cozy shop, I ended up getting a dirty soda and asked for a splash of half and half. Owners are so nice!

  As students, my friends and I have been on the HUNT for the perfect study spot... we've just found exactly what we have been looking for + more at Java Garage. WOW! The coffee was outstanding - I got the special, iced.. 10/10. The atmosphere was unlike any other cafe I've ever been in... warm, cozy, homey. There is more than enough space to spread out. We were there for hours, and even when it did get super busy, it was never chaotic or disruptive like it can become in cafes of smaller sizes. On top of all of that, they're also dog-friendly! I can bring my pup to study or just hangout! An absolute hidden gem in the KC area. I can guarantee that my friends and I will be back to crank out hours and hours of studying while we enjoy the great coffee, unbeatable atmosphere, and friendly service.

  Came here and had a large Latte while I was in the area. Very cute, big space, extremely friendly owners and staff, and the coffee was delicious!

  This is one of my favorite places to hide and work, the music tends to stay a little stuck in the '70s and '80s and there's some definitely Uber Christian overtones sometimes. But overall the owners are nice. The coffee is good and the space is welcoming

  First discovered 3 years ago. I was gate keeping this wonderful place, but I cannot anymore because they are just that good! Hidden gem for sure! They deserve all the love and praises. Love the atmosphere and we love the service and drinks and foods! We love Stout the dog! Happy 10 Years! Excited for another 10 more years!
