- DWDrake WatersAug 7, 20263.0The moment I had to get my own box for my leftovers caused me to write this review. The Greek chicken bowl was not the best, I didn’t feel like it was worth the price. I think it was $16? Maybe $19? Basically chopped veggies on a plate with glorified tzatziki sauce… the flavor was okay enough to not send it back, but I definitely won’t order it again. The service was underwhelming… we asked for water, they gestured to the self serve water, we asked for a box, I had to get it myself, I wanted ketchup, I had to get up and go find it. So why I hell are yall asking for tips? They brought the food and cleared the table, the rest is up to you.. I have a rule, if I am standing at a counter ordering, and not sitting down at a table. I won’t tip(or tip minimally). This place seemed nice enough so right after ordering our food the associate spun the tablet around asking for a tip…I ended up selecting 20% but after leaving I wish I didn’t. Beautiful restaurant with okay food and service.

This past week, I joined a friend for lunch, and we both want to formally thank Dana at the front counter for being so welcoming, gracious and helpful. I accidentally knocked over the menu holder, and she reassured me that it was fine and happens frequently. My friend and I split the bill for our order, and she cheerfully rang up each of our portions separately. She guided us through some of the menu options which was much appreciated as there were some new items since my last visit. The food here is FANTASTIC!! I can't remember what I ordered on my first visit (but I do remember that it was delicious!); this week, I had the Brookside Buiddha Bowl, which was AMAZING! Even the presentation was wonderful (see attached photo)! All the ingredients were delicious, and the flavors melded beautifully, and it was so satisfying; it kept me fueled and focused during a long afternoon at work. My friend had the Pickle Chicken Bacon Ranch salad and said it was mouth-wateringly fabulous. The weather was nice enough to sit in the outside patio, which is well-appointed (even a free water station); the first time I was here, I ate indoors and the dining area is light, airy, and expansive, with plenty of room between tables and quiet enough to chat. Having such a healthy, delicious restaurant in the neighborhood is marvelous, and I'm already planning my next trip back to Hemma Hemma! Thank you all SO much!

Not baby friendly we are out of state and they are nice but very picky were to put a baby stroller we left once we sat down they immediately put us in the very back corner. I said nope were leaving. Warning they are NOT KID friendly!

I visited with 2 friends for breakfast. We each ordered an entree and 4 meals to go. We spent a good amount of $ for breakfast but that was okay because the food is good. We had only been there an hour when the hostess asked us to leave. Said they needed our table. Weird because there were several open tables and no one waiting. We were very taken aback. I sent the restaurant an email asking for an explanation. I wanted to give them a chance to explain. I received no response so I’m taking this to social media. They really don’t seem to care about their customers. Very unfortunate.
