Had a great experience at Empanada Madness. The empanadas were piping hot, fresh, and full of flavor, you can tell they’re made with care. The staff was genuinely courteous and friendly, making the whole visit feel welcoming. A perfect place to satisfy a South American food craving. Im definitely coming back!

Stopped by just to see the Empanadas but then I saw the mouth watering plantains on the menu board and ended up leaving with a delicious bowl! We drove from the crown center parking garage to Loose park and our dinner was still nice and hot thanks to the containers the sweet lady offered us! Prefect balance of spices, so I'll happily eat here again. 🥇

No hemos llevado tremendo chasco; nada que ver con la verdadera comida venezolana; parece “comida” desechada y recalentada; la bandeja paisa es una vergüenza para los colombianos. Debut y despedida.

We came to Kansas City for a family emergency, and since I'm from Venezuela and my husband is American and likes the Venezuelan food I've cooked for him and that we've eaten in restaurants in other states, we decided to look for a Venezuelan place to try. At this place, we ordered two cachapas with cheese and meat + chicken on the side. The meat is grilled, and the chicken was also supposed to be grilled chicken, but the chicken came shredded like the chicken used to make empanadas 😅, so that was weird... The cachapa was good, the meat was average (we would have liked a better type of meat and not so much fat), and we also ordered a soup that was good. Areas for improvement: customer service (since there was no one in the store when we arrived and we called three times). On the other hand, my husband and I were sitting waiting for our food and started checking the reviews and almost ran out because most of them are negative, so if anyone reads these reviews before making a decision, they will probably decide not to go to the restaurant. We spent: $58 in total (a little much for 2 cachapas and a soup) I hope they can improve the quality of the service, the food, etc. 😊
