This location must give their employees a bonus for giving customers the least amount of food. The guy on the scooped up a half scoop of chicken and then shock chicken off the spoon. There was barely anything on the spoon, let alone enough to shake some off. When asked to put more chicken he said “you want double meat?”. No I want what I should’ve had from the beginning. He said the meat is not a full scoop, it’s 4oz. Please tell me how can the customer confirm the amount of ounces we’re receiving. Then they wanted to charge me extra for vinaigrette. I got a bowl why do I need to pay extra? I don’t like the chunky power greens combination that’s why I chose lettuce. Do because I want lettuce instead of power greens I have to pay extra?! If I wasn’t crunched for time to get to work I would’ve left that food and went on about my business.

My first ever one star. I eat chipotle a lot but this one deserves one star because they skimp on portions. The chicken was not even a regular portion (scoop), when asked they just said do you want double. Never visiting this branch again.

I want to be fair with this review because I don’t believe in judging a restaurant from one bad experience. I’ve been to this Chipotle location around 10 different times, and unfortunately I’ve noticed the same issues consistently. My biggest concern is the portion size. I regularly eat at other Chipotle locations, so I have a good comparison of what the portions normally look like. At this location, the portions are consistently smaller. What really stands out is how closely one of the employees pays attention to the amount she puts on the spoon. I’ve watched her intentionally scoop a very small amount instead of filling the spoon before putting it into the bowl. I don’t know whether she is the manager or whether this is how management has instructed the staff to portion food, but after seeing the same thing repeatedly, it doesn’t feel accidental. If I’m paying extra for chicken or double meat, I expect a full portion. I’m not asking anyone to overload my bowl or give me free food. I’m asking for the amount I paid for. If the first scoop isn’t full and the second scoop isn’t full, charging me for double meat doesn’t make sense. That becomes especially frustrating when a bowl can easily get close to $16 to $20 once you add double meat, queso, guacamole, tortillas or other extras. Customers are paying real money for these meals. Give them the full portions they paid for. This location also has fewer drink options than larger Chipotle locations because of its size. I understand that the building may not have room for everything, but the prices aren’t lower because customers have fewer options. When you combine that with consistently smaller portions, the value at this location simply isn’t the same as the other Chipotle restaurants I visit. I’ve also found employees at other Chipotle locations to generally be friendlier. That is another reason I kept giving this location additional chances before leaving a review. After approximately 10 visits, I don’t think this can reasonably be called one bad experience anymore. There appears to be a consistency issue with portioning at this location that management or Chipotle corporate should look into. I would appreciate someone from Chipotle corporate reaching out to me. I’m happy to provide additional details about my visits and what I’ve observed. I like Chipotle. I’m not looking for special treatment. I just want the same experience and portions I receive at other locations. If a customer pays for a full scoop, give them a full scoop. If they pay for double meat, give them two full portions. That shouldn’t be controversial.

I’ve always had good experiences at this Chipotle, which is why today’s visit was so disappointing. I ordered a carnitas bowl, and the employee serving me put what looked like maybe 2 ounces of meat in the bowl. It wasn’t even one full tong scoop and was by far the smallest amount of meat I’ve ever received here. I come to this location regularly, so I know what a normal serving looks like. The employee standing next to him even told him twice that he needed to add more meat. When I asked if he could add more, he said he could, but he would have to charge me extra. I replied that I guess that’s what I had to do just to get a normal serving. After paying an additional $4.50 for “extra” meat, the total amount was still barely what should have been a single serving. Once again, the other employee had to tell him to add more. I don’t mind paying for double meat when I actually receive double meat, but I should not have to pay extra just to get the standard portion that comes with the bowl. Please train your staff on proper portion sizes so customers receive what they’re paying for.
