Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JLJesse lJun 24, 20261.0So got a burger combo was 11.99 they asked if I wanted cheese like it was optional then come to find out they charged 75 cents per slice so then the meal comes out to 15.77 they need to let you know they will charge you for cheese because that is ridiculous you could buy a whole pack of cheese at the store for that price

However I had to wait at the window for 10 minutes for an iced coffee?? After sharing what happened with a few friends I was made aware they have had to wait way too long for their food at this location as well. So whataburger is not a good option if you need to be somewhere within a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunate, because the food was really good.

I'd say these are probably a step better. Go at night and you'll get to meet grams! That's one heck of a drive-thru lady with an amazing attitude!! ✌🏼
