  We stopped in to Mr. Clark's BBQ for a late lunch to celebrate our 1st date anniversary. Our 1st date was bbq in kc and they have been closed for 10 or so years bit we keep the tradition. My husband was excited to try the 1/2 slab rib meal. There were several more ribs than expected, they were meaty, with a good smoky flavor and so tender. He also got baked beans and slaw, both were very well seasoned and much larger portions than expected. I ordered the Show Me Sizzler Sandwich with potato salad as my side. The sandwich was pulled pork with pepper jack cheese, fried jalapenos, bacon and a drizzle of bbq sauce. The pork was so tender and delicious, the fried jalapenos were very flavorful and the bacon so good. I'm not a bacon on my sandwich person but this was top notch. My potato salad nicely seasoned and creamy. We had the place to ourselves since it was early afternoon and the inside was nicely decorated and simple, in a very good way. We will definitely return in the future. We are thrilled to see some good bbq in the area without heading to KC. Thank you Chef Mike for a great experience

  Our 1st trip and it was great! I had the rib platter w beans and slaw. Wife had Show Me sandwich w potato salad and all was delicious. Great flavors and portions. We'll be back!

  Food was FYE and HUGE servings we got lunch and dinn!! But for real if you like melt in your mouth meat.. this is the spot.. go ahead don’t take my word… try it !!!!! I Used the website it was SUPER convenient!

  I've used Mr. Clark's for several catering events and hands down they take the standard to a higher level! They always show up on time (or early), they communicate VERY well. Oh and by the way, the food is AWESOME!! As a KC BBQ snob, I have to say their brisket is hands down some of the most tender I've ever had!!

  Food was amazing. The BBQ baked beans are a must have!! . The meat doesn't need any sauce it definitely is cooked by the best but if you are a sauce snob like me the ranch is good enough to drink lol and the BBQ sauce that's on the table when dining inside is so so good . The service was excellent. The young man taking our order was very sweet and made sure our drinks stayed full and that we had everything we needed. Thank you Rosie for the oreo dessert my friends daughter said this is a 5 star restaurant . We loved it and definitely will be back. If you haven't tried this place yet your missing out.
