Picked this up to go, food was ready on arrival and staff was very friendly. Beans and coleslaw were good. The meat was all dry. We got chicken, turkey, beef burnt ends, and pork belly burnt ends. None of which were very good. Not a fan of the sauce. Quantity for the price was also poorer than other bbq places. Would not recommend.

This place came highly recommended and I believe it to be middle of the road at best. The food was OK, not bad and not outstanding, just mid.

Man this place was fast, I've eaten at other places that it took longer to get a glass of water. We went in, sat down, looked over the menu, made our selection, and our meal was sitting in front of us in less than 10 minutes. Oddly enough the only thing we had to wait on was my beer. Cause the bartender had to change out the keg. Props to our server he was checking on us every 5-7 minutes

Thought we would try something different. That was a mistake. Place was nice, clean, and the BBQ smelled great. Staff was friendly and very attentive. But, the food? Sub Par at best. I think the best plate we had was granddaughter's hot dog. Worst of the worst burnt ends I have ever seen/tasted. These were NOT burnt ends, but cuts of meat with a terrible BBQ sauce half warmed over them. Dry and lacking any flavor. Read a lot of reviews on the cheesy corn. My serving was watery and again lacking flavor. Could have been SO much better. I will say the best/tastiest thing on my plate was the coleslaw. Pretty sad. Also - stay away from the Cajun Butter. OMG! This has zero butter and is just oil mixed with any/all BBQ rubs left over mixed in. Do yourselves a favor - there are plenty of other KC places for BBQ. Stay away from this one and get some good food elsewhere.

In town for work and had to stop by and see how some BBQ in KC becuase iam from TX. $44 for one person is crazy. The app of patotoskins were good but price is crazy $14 is crazy for a app. I also had the meat platter brisket and pulled pork. I will say the hickory beans were delicious, best part of the whole meal. The patotosalad not was good for my taste. I have noticed that in KC they dont do seasoning for there meat, it's very blend unless you use the BBQsause. Here the sauce was good but it was the only way to eat the meat. Service was good Annabelle A did really good she was very nice. She made sure I was taken care of. I would come back but only for the hickory beans and thats it. I do have to say that Texas wins when it comes to KC vs Texas on BBQ
