I placed an order for the Ultimate Hut Bundle with a Dr Pepper around 2:30 PM, with an estimated delivery time of 3:02–3:12 PM. When I checked the status at 3:10, it suddenly showed my order as canceled. A few minutes later, it updated with a new driver and a later delivery time.
I called the store to understand what was going on. I was polite, but the employee I spoke to was dismissive and didn’t explain anything, which made me feel like I was wrong for calling. Shortly after, my order was canceled again and reassigned to another driver.
By this point, I had been waiting quite a while. I called again around 3:26 PM, and the employee who answered said they had no idea where my order was. I remained patient and even apologized for calling, but the attitude I received was still rude. Eventually, they found my order and said they needed to remake it, but only gave me a vague “ticket 20” instead of a proper order update.
After waiting even longer with no updates, I called a third time because I needed to leave for work soon and still had no idea if I would receive my food. The employee was extremely disrespectful, spoke over me, and made it seem like the situation was my fault. I could hear staff in the background also confused about my order. I was told it was “coming out of the oven,” but again, no clear timeline was given.
Nearly two hours after placing my order, I finally received a call saying they had arrived, but I had been in the shower after waiting so long with no updates. I asked if they could leave it at the door.
When I finally got my food, my Dr Pepper was missing, and the thin crust pizza was burnt on the bottom.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience due to poor communication, multiple cancellations, long delays, and rude customer service. I understand mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability and professionalism made this much worse. Writing this review so this does not happen to another customer. The second employee was named Jennifer I believe.
