- SCShaii COct 5, 20262.0Unfortunately, our experience at Main Event was disappointing, and by the end of our visit, I was ready to leave rather than continue spending money there. First, when we arrived, the person at the front desk was nice, but he didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the facility or the questions we were asking. He was also on his phone, which didn’t give a very welcoming or professional first impression. I understand that employees may not know every single detail, but I expected someone at the front desk to at least be able to provide basic information or direct us to someone who could. Once we got to the bowling area, we had to actually look around and search for an attendant because we wanted to order food. By the time someone came over, we were almost at the end of the happy hour period. When we finally placed our order, the attendant also wasn’t able to answer many of our questions about the menu. She did let me know that she was newer, which I completely understand. Everyone has to learn at some point. However, when she didn’t know the answers, I would have appreciated her seeking out another employee or manager who could assist us instead of just guessing or leaving us without answers. Then came the biggest issue: the food. My chicken tenders were cold, the bread was stale, and the food was extremely salty. I immediately made the attendant aware of the problem. She apologized, but that was basically the end of it. I specifically told her that she should probably make a manager aware because the food was cold, salty, and the bread was stale so that someone could look into the issue. Her response was essentially that she was sorry, but no manager was brought over and nothing was done to address the situation. At that point, I was already frustrated and ready to leave. I had originally planned to do more activities while we were there, but the experience had completely changed my mind. Instead of continuing to spend money and enjoy our time, I simply paid for what we had and left. I understand that employees can be new and that mistakes happen. What matters is how those issues are handled. Unfortunately, the lack of knowledge, having to search for an employee to place a food order, and especially the way the food complaint was handled made the entire experience disappointing. I expected a much better experience from Main Event, and based on this visit, I would have a hard time recommending it.

I am beyond impressed and will forever be a guest at this location. I have never experienced this level of customer service and I hope everyone will come to this location in this location only.

- DMDana MillerSep 19, 20261.0Took 5 happy grandkids in to bowl. The lake was terrible, kept giving food even though no one was near the line so it wouldn't record their score. One quit on frame three, 2 more in frame six after they changed our lane because it all froze up... By the end the 3 year old and Grandpa were the only ones to finish the game. Save your money and go some where else. The manager just said, yes this happens all the time on our lanes...
