Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Fries were cold and the containers were only half full. Special requests were not honored. Gave us no ketchup and when we drove around to just go in and grab some the doors were locked .. This place used to be our favorite place for burgers. Somewhere in the past few months it's gone completely down hill. I don't believe we will be returning.

Avoid! I waited at the drive-thru speaker for 10 minutes without being greeted at lunch time on a Thursday! Once someone finally said something to me, they told me I should go somewhere else because they were busy. I was boxed in by five cars in front of me and three cars behind me. Where was I supposed to go? I even spoke to the manager, who said nothing, not even an apology for the wait. Once I got the food, the buns of the burger were dry, and I've tasted uncooked potatoes with better flavor than the fries. Apparently, a lunch rush on a weekday is not something you should be prepared for when you are a fast-food place??? Isn't this the food chain they had to have police directing traffic for when it came to our area because it was sooo great??? Well, I can't speak for the chain as a whole, but this location certainly sucks!

I frequent this location often due to it being the closest food establishment to my job. Typically the afternoon is the worst shift to come in on. The staff are usually dismissive and at times rude and I see them walking around the back prep area on their phones instead of taking orders or addressing customers standing at the counter. So I decided to go late at night after the lobby closes and the service I receive at night time with the drive thru is 1000 times better. They are friendlier and very attentive and accommodating. Tonight I managed to make it 10mins before the lobby closed and Ledrea was very sweet and kind. The adults that work there during the day should probably learn some customer service skills from her.

Walk in. No one there in the front or watching the front. You have 3 female employees in the bathroom and 2 in the same stall together. We received the worst food we have ever received from a Whataburger. The tomatoes still had the stem and leaf on it. The fries were soggy and taste like old grease. The chicken had barely any sauce. No point on calling the manager as the manager was there and walked out to the front with his belt undone. Will stick to Raymore or the Lee Summit location.
