  Definitely will not be returning and have already voiced why and my reasoning. Bartender saw something in me and instead of doing his job and any whatever he needed to do to make sure his duties were completed. Simply dined to enjoy my time meal etc with my daughter. Bartender chose to unnecessary bring my mood down. I definitely will not ever return!

  We love J Gilbert’s! Usually only on special occasions because it’s not cheap but it is always wonderful. We went for my son’s birthday and the food and service were outstanding! Our waiter Sam was great! He made suggestions and was just perfect. Always there with a refill and to check on us but not hovering. Really terrific waiter. We will definitely request Sam the next time we go!

  I was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere, of course is beautiful,, but really impressed me was the staff and ownership, my steak was a little undercooked, not only did the Manager come over and apologize, bought me a glass of wine, he made me feel like he really cared(Brian), Our waitress(Becca), Was so attentive and down to earth! They made me realize that there are still restaurants who care about pleasing the people! We will be back and I will tell everyone I know about the great experience I had!

  So I ordered the lamb chops and I'm so sorry I did. 🤮 Veeery poor taste. All fat no meat, and my wife's food was bad as well. Black chicken pasta... 🤮... Happy hour bar and grill in Florissant serves better lamb chops. My server was over booked and it showed badly. Forgetting things. Bad communication. Never could find him. We were there for my daughter's birthday but I'm probably not going back. God bless 🙏🏾

  Being from out of town we didn't know what to expect. We had reservations. We were greeted kind of coldly but the hostess sat us promptly. The ambiance is warm and cozy without being overcrowded. Our server Raven was pleasant and professional. The filet mignons we ordered were PERFECT. I don't think I've ever had a steak this good. I could, and did, cut it with my butter knife. The sides were just fair. We had broccolini, whipped potatoes, baked potato and cream corn. Nothing to get expired about there. If I see J. Gilbert's anywhere in my travels, I will go back.
