Food was great service was less than sub par.. the gentleman that sat us was super great. We got our drinks quickly. It was a girls day at lunch.. not super crowded but a bit busy.. we sat and chatted, ordered our food, it was amazing, ordered chips and queso, no plates were offered.. of course I made a mess, asked for additional napkins which never materialized after asking 3 times. We had to flag down someone to refill our drinks.. suddenly the waitress appears with our bill. Paid it and never saw her again.. by the time we left it was not crowded at all.. I usually give a good tip, I shoukd of given a dollar or penny, but I did give a tip... would definitely go back for the food.. hope we get a better waitress... yeah we gave her probably 20 bucks for the two of us... probably shoukd not have because she will think she did a good job. She didn't

Menu on their website is not the menu offered in the restaurant, disappointing. Made a back up choice, after waiting 30 minutes, was told there was an issue with the meat. Canceled the order and ordered something else. 20 minutes after that, the food arrived and was not what was ordered. Three different failures, such a shame, beautiful place and had so much hope for it! I am hoping these are issues with being new and thing can be turned around. Was not a fault of the waitstaff, was kitchen issues for sure. Maybe I will try again in the future, who knows?! Just hope that they can turn things around.

Yikes! Worst Mexican restaurant ever! We walk in and are told we have to wait for a table when I can see 5 empty tables from the counter. Fine. Sit down, no free chips and salsa. I can't think of a sit down Mexican restaurant I've been to that didn't give free chips and salsa. Food is a little pricey so it better be good. Well, after waiting for 50 minutes and being told multiple times that "it's almost ready", it comes out. We also got a feeling that our server was listening in on our conversation. My burrito was very underwhelming for $18, only coming with rice, a few pieces of lettuce, and a glob of sour cream. Most entrees only come with beans or rice, not both. The burrito was tiny and did not have much meat inside. My sister's came out with the sauce on it when she asked for it not to. She sent it back. She also asked for no bacon, and when they brought it back, there was bacon on it. She was so hungry and didn't want to hold us up that she went with it and spent the meal picking the bacon out of her food. My parents' bowls were served with stale toast (very random?) with bland cheese on it. Overall, all the food was very bland. My mom's chicken was also insanely dry, almost to the point where it was not appetizing. The rice in the bowls was dry and the rice with my burrito was super dry and bland. Extremely disappointing, will never return. Bottom 3 dining experience of all time.

Took almost a full hour for food to come out, not to mention the 20 mins we waited for a table to be open even though I saw plenty of tables. They also charge for chips and salsa! I asked for my salad dressing on the side and no bacon on my salad, and after waiting an hour the salad had dressing. They offered to take it back, and they did, but when they remade my salad it still had bacon! The decor was cool but chipotle has better service. I also suspect they listen to your conversations, as when my party mentioned the long wait to eachother they came up to us and told us our food will be out soon, it did not come out soon.

My daughter wanted to try the New Mexican restaurant yesterday evening. I ordered one of the barrel bowls. The rice under the food seemed under cooked. The rice was really hard. All I thought about on that first bite is I could have broken a tooth. (I was very lucky, go find a dentist on a Saturday night not to mention the expense). I did tell the server who told the manager after a while. The manager did come over and apologize. I was limited for time so didn’t have the dish replaced. He in fact stated he tasted it and the rice was hard. My daughter liked her meal and as someone else stated they don’t serve chips, there is an up charge for that. Service was just ok, nothing special. As we were leaving there was a wait to get in. I can’t figure out why. I don’t know if I would go back. All those people who didn’t get the rice can thank me for saving them a trip to the dentist and restaurant should have been more thankful as they would have to pay someone’s dental bill. I wish I would have thought to take a photo.
