- ABAmanda BatemanSep 7, 20262.0I don't go to this chipotle because I don't live down town, but I'm at the I-Tap and I wanted chips and queso, so you can imagine my surprise when I went in at 9 and they yelled at me as I entered the door that they don't have anything but carne asada. I've worked in the restaurant industry for years, and this is a common complaint on their Google reviews. Which to me reads as a management issue. Either they aren't prepping enough in the morning/unwilling to prep mid-day, or they aren't ordering as much as they should on truck. Either way, a manager on duty should be telling people to prep more or they need to close the business down for the night. Which if I had to guess, their upper management doesn't want them doing.

Today the chips were incredibly stale; three friends and I all got quesadillas, which were completely cold and uncooked. One worker seemed high and was a bit rude. I am a Chipotle fan, but this location always disappoints, which is truly heartbreaking.

However, all empty tables completely a mess, if dining in, expect to sit at a nasty table or clean it yourself. Trash cans full. Ice machine broke, sodas from machine flat, food wasn't not very great. Nobody in charge managing and if they were, they would need some training. Bummer because this has always been our go to spot. First time coming through Columbia dropping off son at MIZZOU. We will try other spots in Columbia next time and pass on this one. That was our experience. Hope this helps Chipolte Management more then it does persuading others not to stop by.
