- MRMike RedmonJul 23, 20261.0I travel all over the US for work, so I eat at Chipotle alot..over the past year, I have not eaten at Chipotle much because it seems that every location I go to the tables are always dirty with standing food. This location was no different... I read the reviews for at least 4 Chipotles in the area and picked this one because they had the best reviews at 4.2 stars...There were at least 3 locations that were closer than this one. I went out out of my way to drive 30 minutes, but like most locations, I was sorely disappointed. When I walked into this one I noticed there were several tables that had standing food. Most of the garbage cans were full, the drink area were you also get utensils had not been cleaned or wiped down in a while & had straw papers and utensils laying all over the counter, & the floors were dirty. I was at this location for more than an hour and I never saw anyone come out and wipe tables, empty garbage cans, or address anything out in the dining room. I noticed that when it was less busy, that most of the employees would just be standing around. Also when I left the store I noticed handprints all over the doors and the windows throughout the restaurant. I should have noticed that on the way into the store because I have actually passed up stores because the windows and doors had handprints all over which is a telltale sign of how clean the store is. I don't know if this is the culture of Chipotle, a lapse in training, or a deficiency in management oversight because this is what I see all over the US. This is the first time in 6 years of traveling all over the US for work that I have ever left a comment at a restaurant that I've eaten at but I felt it was important because I will probably not patron Chipotle again in the future until there culture changes!
