  I believe the chef has been replaced. Food tasted like an amateur cooked it by reading instructions. I ate at this place months ago and food tasted great. Tonight it was disappointing far as food and service. Last time I waste my hard earned money here.

  I came here at the suggestion of a friend who is from India so I figured it would be a good place to get some authentic food. Boy did they deliver! I had the best Nalli Gosht Pulao. This is a rich, aromatic rice dish featuring super tender lamb shank cooked in a fragrant broth and layered with long-grain basmati rice. However, the rest of the experience was hampered find some of the same service issues that others have described. Our waitress totally forgot half of our order and it took us forever just waiting around for that food to come. Clearly, nobody here seems to have ever worked at another restaurant because the normal cordialities of checking on your food after it’s served or clearing glasses, plates or menus are totally forgotten. I hope they sort these issues out because their food was delightful and authentic!

  The food was not good, despite the absence of a wait time. The taste was off, and the service speed was good, but the service itself was lacking. The ambiance was fine.

  I went to Amrut with my family of four. Since we had a vegetarian amongst us, we ordered vegetarian starters like Tandoori momos and cheese tikka which were not so great. Non vegetarian starters with pepper chicken and peri peri chicken were a hit with the kids n they loved it. Also we ordered 2 piece Mandi which was also good, rice was flavorful and the meat was well cooked, went well with the mayonnaise sauce. Vegetarian curry was amazing as well that we had with Roti. Mango lassi was too good. This place deserves much credit just for the taste aspect and I highly recommend this to everyone.

  This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in the St.Louis area. I have gone multiple times and tried my fair share of different items and have enjoyed every single one. The seasoning levels were on point and the meats are well cooked. At the end of my meal my waiter had recommended the Maska buns advising that they are best when dipped in their chai tea latte. It was a heavenly sweet treat and I will absolutely be ordering that combo again in the future. I highly recommend any of their samosas, kabobs, or bowls of curry!
