  Placed a late night order through car jop area. Kaylee took my order and delivered it and was GREAT! I know it sounds silly, but she took the time to confirm the order verse just saying "Does your order look right on screen?" I always ask for recommendations when ordering. Tonight Kaylee's recommendation was a banana pudding blast! Let me sayyyyyyy A1 babbbbyyyyy... that blast barely made it home! So kudos for knowing the menu. For the food it was still hot and fresh when it made it to the table! So shout out to the cook's whipping it up in the back over hot grills and grease especially while it's hot outside! Thank you Kaylee and all the staff who handled my order for a good experience with Sonic Carthage this evening!

  I used to live at the local Sonic practically like everyone else and now I just drive right on by...Everything is too high for me because I treated a friend to lunch one day and could not for the life of me figure out how 2 burgers 2 rings and 2 drinks was 40$!!! People are getting ridiculous however the owners of the place have quite the mansion outside city limits so I think they are building another one as well so make their dreams stay alive and chow down but not me. 😑

  I have been going to this Sonic my entire life and I have to agree with the reviews saying this Sonic has gone downhill. Super long weight times and at night, quite often, they just shut the drive thru down. Even when the drive thru is open, the wait to place your order can be minutes long at times. Stopped by Saturday night 07/18/26 at 10:15 P.M. two hours before close and the drive thru wasn’t working. I drove up to window and was told I couldn’t place an order at the window and needed to pull into a stall. No explanation provided about the drive thru or sign posted. Had to press the button at the stall multiple times before getting a worker. Years ago this was a great Sonic but the decline has been noticeable over the past couple years.
