    They shut down early on the 4th. Earlier than they were supposed to. We got there 5 minutes before but they had locked out the different customers

    ⭐ 1 Star (If I could give 0 stars, I would.) Two days ago, my husband and I visited the Chipotle location in Bridgeton, Missouri. This used to be one of our regular go-to restaurants, but over the past year we’ve noticed a steady decline in both customer service and overall staff attitude. Unfortunately, this latest visit was the final straw, and we will not be returning. It’s one thing for employees to seem uninterested or unhappy at work. It’s an entirely different issue when customers are treated poorly and disrespectfully on purpose. From the moment we walked in, the experience was unpleasant. We weren’t greeted. The first employee simply stared at us as if we were expected to initiate the interaction. Things only got worse from there. The employee who took over our order was rude, dismissive, and shorted us on the food we were paying for. I specifically ordered double protein and received what amounted to roughly ten small cubes of meat total. Five cubes plus another five cubes is not double protein. When I politely questioned the portion size, I was told, “That’s all you’re getting.” I was honestly shocked by the complete lack of customer service and professionalism. I wasn’t asking for anything free. I wasn’t asking for special treatment. I was simply asking to receive the food I was paying for. What made the situation even more frustrating was watching the customer ahead of us receive approximately three times the amount of protein on a single-protein order, yet somehow my husband and I were treated differently. The treatment was so disrespectful and unprofessional that my husband and I ultimately walked out without even finishing our order. Think about that for a moment. We were fully prepared to pay for our meals, yet the experience was so negative that we chose to leave. In the end, the food that had already been prepared for us could not be sold to anyone else and had to be thrown away. Not only did Chipotle lose two longtime customers, but the store also absorbed unnecessary food waste and cost. What good business sense does that make? This review is being posted in hopes that Chipotle corporate takes a serious look at what is happening at this location. The level of disrespect, poor service, and inconsistency is unacceptable. You’ve lost two longtime customers, and I find it hard to believe we’re the only people experiencing these issues. Bridgeton Chipotle management and corporate should take a closer look at the customer experience being provided at this store before more loyal customers decide to take their business elsewhere.
