The manager here who was there on July 13, 2026 between the hours of three and five, is both incompetent and rude. She was training an employee who accidentally charged us four times for one pizza and 10 breadsticks. This was done over the phone with credit cards and we were continually told cards were declined. I arrived at the location while my significant other was still attempting to make this order on the phone.
Waiting there with my Service dog, between certain hours, how difficult could the transaction number have been to looked up on the tapes? We were told if we lost the ticket that she could not help us. We did get the charges On the cards reversed, no help from Pizza Hut or the incompetent manager at this location, who has now soured us on all Pizza Hut, and we plan to never eat there ever again

After further thought about this particular incident that occurred at the Pizza Hut in Boonville on 6/13/26, I feel a need to express additional concerns to the owners. It is my hope that they are looking at these reviews & taking action when necessary.
You have a manager at the Boonville store location who has a history of being abusive to paying customers. Check your reviews!!
Your manager had no right to hang up on me twice as I was not being abusive or using profane language. I suggest that you re-look at the person you have managing your store when your head is turned. Additional interpersonal communication skills is needed! Customer negotiation as well! The trainee employee that witnessed this incident now thinks it is perfectly acceptable to talk to people like crap, treat them like crap, and rudely hang up on when they don’t like what they are hearing. A store manager is paid to take the call, take ownership, work the complaint, & correct the problem. I got anything but help!
I repeat this issue was caused by Pizza Hut Manager & an inferior employee in training who clearly is not ready to work with the public, or process credit transactions. And worse than anything, no one apologized! It took me at least one hour to resolve this last night with two different credit card companies. As I said last night, I will never patron a Pizza Hut again. Sad because I’ve been your loyal customer for nearly 50 years.
So now from now on when I visit Boonville, I’ll be going to the Chinese buffet by Walmart. at least they appreciate and value their customers, offering a better meal with larger portions, better customer service, and a positive experience.

My family has been patrons of this particular Pizza Hut since my teens in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Always have had a pleasant experience, until today.
I called to place an order for a large supreme pizza and 10 breadsticks the girl on the phone who took the order was OK, however, when she handed off to the second girl, that’s when things went downhill. Gave the person on the phone my credit card information, she claimed the card declined. We ran the card again, she claimed the card declined again. We then tried a second PayPal Mastercard. She claimed that that card also declined. And finally, we tried my UMB debit visa and the amount cleared for $37.09. Approximately one hour later, I’m looking at my AMEX card account and I see two transactions for the amount of $37.09. I then go check my PayPal Mastercard yet another $37.09 transaction. And the. finally check my UMB debit Mastercard another $37.09 I was upset for obvious reasons as I had paid almost $150 for one large pizza and 10 breadsticks!!!!! When I called to discuss the issue with the manager, she kept telling me about a need for a ticket number. Refusing to help me reach closure. Kept asking me again and again for the ticket number. I don’t recall ever getting a ticket, much less a ticket number as my boyfriend was who picked up the order. She did however inform me that the young girl that was taking the money on the phone was in training. This is when I got really irate. She was unwilling to help me resolve the problem, fully knowing that the girl on the other end of the phone had no idea what the hell she was doing. Unwilling to accept accountability or ownership for a problem that they created. As far as I’m concerned when I called back to try to talk with this hard headed manager the second time and she hung up again, that was when I considered it to be fraud and it was reported to American Express and Paypal as such. I have already received refunds for three of the transactions. It was Amex that informed me that they could see EXACTLY what transpired. One of two things 1) their equipment is defective, or 2) the person using the equipment has no idea what they’re doing. No doubt it user error. After this horrific experience, I will never patron a Pizza Hut at any location nationwide.

I ordered a pizza at 7:15pm today. I got an email at 7:30 saying it was ready. It wasn't ready. I didn't get handed my order until 7:55, and one of the pizzas was wrong. I got my last pizza correct and in my hand at 8:15. I had to wait an entire hour. And the staff marked my order done a whole 45 minutes before it actually was done, I assume to meet their time constraints for management to not see that they're taking an entire hour on a single order.
The whole time I waited, I was hearing the staff wrestling, tickling each other, joking around, and giggling in the back, being completely unserious. I feel jipped because as someone who just spent $50 here I ought to be taken seriously.
Edit to add: one of the pizzas was really weird in the crust being torn. None of them had the garlic sauce that's supposed to be added to the crust. The bread sticks were undercooked and still doughy in the middle. The pictures of the weird crust pizza were taken in the store before we left.

I had a complaint about a pizza I had ordered. I went into the store and spoke to the store manager. I asked her for the owners phone number because I had a complaint about how the pizzas are always cooked (undercooked is what I mean) and she told me, "I don't havr the owners number." I asked her if she was actually the store manager and that she honestly doesn't have any contact information about the owner. She said, "That's correct." So, I guess that means the store owner is an anonymous person that hired her??? What a terrible position for the store manager. I suppose if there's an issue that the owner needs to know about, especially concerning customer service, telepathy is the best method of communication. I even spoke to the "corporate" people that accepted complaints and this person wouldn't acknowledge any issues with what had happened. Since they refuse to accept any accountability, a friend recommended Breadeaux. Glad I made the switch.
