Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    To all of the employees that made my evening on 5/10 between 1030pm-1115pm you da real MVPs. I was the lady who requested a ton of pickles on my burger....and you over delivered making the end of a long work day amazing. Thank you!!

    On April 30, 2026 at 1031pm I went to this location and went through the drivethrough....WOW is all I can think. The lady taking our order was so rude, she kept sighing in the speaker when we would nicely correct the order because it was not right. I work cust service everyday so I get being frustrated but wowwwww!! Didn't even get to eat because she was so rude that we drove away from the speaker mid order. What a disappointment. Whataburger....she may not bring your business down but she will bring your team down!!!

    Placed a pickup order for 6:05-6:10 pm and arrived at 6:08 pm. Parking lot is dead, not busy at all. We walk in and they have not even started on our order yet. It took them until 6:28 pm to make 3 burgers, fries, and shakes. Don’t waste your time.
