  We love Shelly at Gold Star. Before we sit down she has our coffee and water waiting. We love seeing pictures of her sweet little Elliott. All the people there c are friendly and good portions. Wide variety of food too.

  The service was very good and the waitress was very friendly, but I didn't like the food. I ordered an omelet, but it had eggshells in it and was poorly made; I ordered it again, but it was undercooked, and the meat was raw.

  Exactly what you expect of a diner. Our food was not bad, but did not seem home-cooked. With this large of a menu everything can't be made from scratch and I understand that - it was good food for a good price. My only complaint were that the home fries had an insane amount of seasoned salt and I almost couldn't eat them, had about half before I had to quit.

  A little country restaurant that has great food ( and alot of it), good prices and great friendly service. Worth the drive to Billings
