I don’t usually post about poor food service but this is worst of the worst. I ordered two beach clubs online through delivery. Both did not come with turkey on them. I called the store to ask about it and was hung up on multiple times after I kept explaining the order was incorrect. Very poor service. I always make sure to tip and be very polite. Do not expect much from this location. If you hate customers don’t work fast food. 🤷

Ordered lunch for my son and I. Placed the order at 11:20am. Around 11:40am, I get an update saying they’re giving my order to an Uber driver for delivery, which was no big deal. After about 20 minutes of watching the uber driver in the app sit at the restaurant, I see its reassigned to another Uber driver. I watched that Uber driver sit there for about another 20 minutes and then starts to drive away from the restaurant. It’s been a little over an hour since I placed the order, so I decide I’ll just go get it myself. As I open my garage door, I see the Jimmy John’s driver pull up. I’m thinking great, at least the food is here now. The driver was nice, handed me the food and apologized for not having the correct drink. I explained to the driver that I had placed the order over an hour ago, the sandwiches I wanted toasted are now soggy. She apologized again and said I would have to talk to someone at the store. I decide I’ll go up there and have them remake the sandwiches and get the correct drinks. When I walked in I was greeted with a death stare. An employee, I’m assuming is the manager asks me what’s the problem. I said I ordered this meal over an hour ago and it was just delivered the sandwiches are cold. Before I could finish I was told that this employee “made the sandwiches themselves” and proceeded to tell me “they weren’t cold”. “They have one driver working and she’s new.” “She had another deliver that took an hour to do.” I’m not about to argue back and forth about if the food is warm or not and about all the other circumstances that quite frankly have nothing to do with me. I asked the employee “Sky” for a refund. I was told that they didn’t have time for that and that they would give me the refund when they had time. I stood there and waited. Another employee offered to run the refund for them. I told Sky that all of the issues they’re having at the store are understandable, but having an attitude is not. They said they’re doing the best they can, which is understandable. Greeting a customer with an attitude as if I messed up is the wrong way to handle it. Being argumentative with a customer is the wrong way to handle it. Next time start with an apology and make the situation right. That’s how you keep customers coming back. My family and I were very excited when we saw a Jimmy John’s being built so close to our home. It’s a shame that this had to be my first interaction. I hope Sky gets the training they need for deescalating issues with customers. Everyone has bad days hopefully this was just a one off for them.
