- AQAddi QataminSep 29, 20261.0Very disappointing experience at Safeway Waipahu. This is easily the worst-stocked and most poorly managed Safeway I’ve experienced on the island. I regularly find items that are already expired or extremely close to their expiration date—and often still priced at surprisingly high prices. The bakery selection is also noticeably limited compared with other Safeway locations. On top of that, I’ve encountered checkout/register mistakes on virtually every visit. The staff often seem poorly trained, which makes the shopping experience unnecessarily frustrating. For a major grocery chain, this location needs significant improvement in inventory management, pricing, staff training, and overall quality control. I would strongly recommend checking other grocery stores or Safeway locations before shopping here.
