I had previously swore I would never order pizza from Pizza Hut again because the pizzas would be consistently skimpy on the toppings. It was only due to the pandemic, with online ordering, minimal interaction and me and my wife fondly remembering about pan pizza crust that we ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut again. That pizza was fantastic. I was still hesitant because that was just a one time event. Not enough to mark a trend. Then my grandma wanted pizza when I was there doing yard work and my niece picked up some Pizza Hut and that was amazing. Those experiences were enough for me to order Pizza Hut this time, even though they had already sold out of large pan pizzas. All of these experiences are from the Leoku St. location in Waipahu and they have earned consideration when deciding where to eat. I am still hesitant to get Pizza Hut from any other location, but I will keep my eyes open to see if this is the new corporate standard or if it just this location that makes delicious pizza.
