  Have no second thoughts about this wonderful restaurant. We stopped in after a long day viewing a fountain of lava. This was the pefect stop. Great food. Good beer. Wonderful service. Fun atmosphere. Obviously popular with locals. Of course you are going to eat a few scoops of macaroni salad when visiting the Big Island. I had no less than 5. I am sort of partial to this delicacy from my childhood. (FYI. I also grew up eating fried spam sandwiches. Who knew that I was raised "Hawaiian" in rural Ohio. I digress.) Hana Hou easily won the macaroni salad competition. It was perfect. Just the right creaminess and and the right sweetness. Everything was delicious. We felt very welcomed. Don't miss this place if you are in the neighborhood. IF we are ever so lucky to return to Hawaii, we will be back. Thank you.

  such a fun atmosphere, everyone working felt so warm. Food was great! Lots of variety. Cool artwork. Definitely worth a stop; and the baked goods! I couldn’t decide what to get because it was all so appetizing! Y.U.M. Landed on the lemon bar, it was perfect A great stop before/after the beach- very cozy, feels like a nice little hideaway

  Third time on the big Island and this is by far our favorite restaurant. The blackened fresh catch is better than anywhere else we've been. We arrived about an hour before closing - the service was great and the live music added to the good vibes. Highly recommend! Worth the drive out if you're not already in the area

  Neat place, but they were stingy with seating. We wanted seats but were told it would be a long wait. They recommended To go. Ended up waiting 40+ minutes for Togo food. People who came in after us without reservation were seated while we were still waiting. That was quite disappointing. I was standing there waiting with a broken ankle and a cane… Could have easily ordered and gotten seated while they prepped food. The place seemed great but there was just something off about the service

  The food was fantastic. I had the fresh catch burger of the day on a gluten free bun. I was stuffed, but ate the whole thing because it was so good. I appreciated that the gluten free wasn't dry. Service was a bit slow, but our waitress was very friendly and helpful. On the way out I got some gluten free (and gluten free + vegan) pastries to go. The lilikoi cupcake was my favorite.
