  The green salad 🥗 was the saltiest thing I’ve ever tasted. It was borderline inedible because the dressing was already too salty, then they sprinkled the whole dish with fleur de sel and it had grains of gritty additional salt. The vegan pasta bolognese was also extremely salty. The whole meal tasted like salt, and that made me sad because there were potential subtle flavors that could’ve been enjoyed. One tasty dish was the broccolini on the side. Finally, the chocolate soufflé was decent. My husband really enjoyed his $70 tuna dish so I am giving two stars. The service was super frustrating at first because I wanted to know about the desserts and the waiter shut me down, saying “we can talk about that later.” I was actually stunned that he said that. I didn’t like that at all because I plan my meal and how much I’m eating depending on if there is a dessert that I am looking forward to. When he refused to tell me about their dessert menu, I couldn’t plan accordingly and it disappointed me. For a high-end restaurant, I felt that Cooper was not an accommodating server because I expect my questions about the menu to be answered when I ask them. It felt demeaning when he responded that way. To his credit, he did serve us well the rest of the time. The view was beautiful, and the oval table for two overlooking the balcony was a nice touch. Good atmosphere.

  Mahalo to the incredible team at Spago Maui! Our final dinner on Thursday night was unforgettable. From the hostess to our fantastic wait staff, everyone made us feel so incredibly welcome. They gave this Pittsburgh couple a true taste of island hospitality that felt just like home.

  My fiancée and I came here for our first dinner as an engaged couple, so we were really hoping for a special experience and Spago absolutely delivered. The highlight of the evening was the incredible service from Peter and Luna. They were fantastic from start to finish. They were attentive without being overbearing, always checking in on us, and genuinely making us feel special. Their service really took the entire experience over the top and made an already memorable night even better. For dinner, we had the Double Cut Bone-In Pork Chop and the Thai-Style Pineapple Coconut Red Curry Mahi Mahi, along with the shishito peppers to start. Everything was fantastic. The food tasted incredibly fresh, the presentation was beautiful, the portions were generous, and we left completely satisfied. Between the food, atmosphere, and especially the service, this was exactly the kind of dinner we were hoping for after getting engaged. 11/10 experience and easily one of the best places to eat in Wailea. Huge thank you to Peter and Luna for helping make our first dinner as an engaged couple one we’ll always remember! ❤️💍

  We had a wonderful dinner at Spago! The food was absolutely delicious — everything we tried was amazing. Even though we had requested a table with a view and unfortunately didn’t get one, we still had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, the waiters were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they gave us some great recommendations. Overall, we were very happy with our evening and would definitely recommend Spago!

  Absolutely amazing experience and one of the best meals we’ve had all trip! My husband ordered the crab-crusted Onaga, and I had the curry special with lobster, scallops, and prawns. Both dishes were incredible. We started with the stone fruit and burrata salad and the bread platter, and we would highly recommend both as well. As wonderful as the food was, the staff made the experience even more memorable. Tyler was our server, and his warm hospitality and exceptional service truly made our night feel special. Between the beautiful views, delicious food, and wonderful service, this restaurant is well worth a visit!
