This casual, family-friendly restaurant is named for the Makahiki season, the traditional Hawaiian celebration of the harvest. Here, the spirit of Makahiki is celebrated through delectable cuisine and local artwork.
This was supposed to be a 3-course meal, but the portions definitely had other plans 😂🍽️ We honestly didn’t expect them to be this generous! Everything was delicious, and by the end of it, we were SO full😂
And as if the meal wasn’t already enough, we were each surprised with a complimentary cake! 🍰✨ Such a sweet touch and such a lovely dining experience. We left happy, full, and spoiled! 🥹💗

My husband and I were staying next door at the Four Seasons, but we’re huge Disney fans, so we knew we had to eat here while we were on Oahu. We walked over from our hotel, meandered through the pool area, and explored the lobby. The restaurant is just off the lobby.
We sat outside and had a beautiful Hawaiian evening. My husband got the catch of the day - a tuna - and I got the NY strip steak. For my starter I had the burrata. Everything was cooked to perfection with so much flavor. It was a generous three-course meal and we are so glad we came. Definitely a must try if you’re near Ko Olina!

We did both the character breakfast ace course dinner here. Our breakfast experience was good- the malasadas were a hit, the fruit was fresh and the service was good. If you want an easy Mickey or family pic this is it. Our dinner experience was also pretty good, the warm bread was tasty, the soup and salads were all good and the prime rib and kids steaks were great! The dinner was just a little too drawn out for a Disney resort, I knew it would take awhile but the dinner to dessert stretch seemed a little too long at a resort with lots of kids.

My family has been lucky enough to have done this character breakfast on more than one occasion (when it was a buffet and when it was plated options only.). I have to say going to the set menu was a slap in the face for the price you pay. My breakfast consisted of 3 pancakes, three strips of bacon, and I added two eggs for eight dollars. Making a grand total of 65 dollars for just me ( before tax and gratuity). Our family of eight (4 adults and four kids) cost over 500 dollars for a breakfast we could have gotten at a IHOP for under a hundred dollars. The staff was polite and did a good job and the characters were very engaging but be aware that is what you are paying for and you are paying very well for it so get every single picture you want because from a food standpoint you will be left underwhelmed.

10/10 No notes. Everything was absolutely delicious. Fresh, quality ingredients, prepared in an exquisite and tasteful way. Plentiful portions to boot, and top level service. The tuna (catch of the day) was likely the best I've had outside of Japan.
