  So many people talk about this location because of the amazing mountain view, but the experience didn’t live up to the hype at all. They only had a few workers trying to handle everything, and it clearly showed. Every order coming out seemed wrong, people were waiting forever, and the receipt printer wasn’t even working. The whole place felt unorganized and chaotic. What made it worse was how dirty everything was, especially the bathrooms. For a place that gets this much attention and traffic, you’d expect it to be much cleaner and better managed. The view may be great, but the service, cleanliness, and overall experience seriously need improvement.

  Der schönste McDonald’s der Welt. Laut Instagram mindestens genauso heilig wie der Tempel gegenüber. Biegt man von der Hauptstraße aus ein, merkt man erstmal nicht, warum dem so ist, aber sobald man von der anderen Seite auf das Schnellimbiss-Restaurant blickt, weiß man, warum jeder aktuell wegen der goldenen Bögen vor Ort so durchdreht. Das ganz besonders bei schönem Wetter. Abgesehen davon ist das Ganze ein relativ normaler und geradezu winziger McDonald's, den man da vor die pittoreske Landschaft gezimmert hat. Menschen über 40 checken wahrscheinlich gar nicht, warum Menschen unter 30 um den Drive-through springen und alles fotografieren. Als besonderes Gimmick wie überall auf der Insel springen nicht nur Menschen herum, sondern auch richtige, lebendige Chicken McNuggets huschen um die Tische herum, während man isst, und wenn man nicht aufpasst, springt das zutrauliche Federvieh auch noch auf den Tisch.

  We stopped by McDonald’s while exploring the island and honestly had a surprisingly great experience. The food came out fresh and exactly what you expect — quick, consistent, and satisfying. Staff were friendly and got everything out fast even when it was busy. But the real highlight here is the view… easily the best-view McDonald’s on the island!! Sitting there with great scenery while eating was something we didn’t expect at all and made the whole stop way more memorable than a typical fast food run. Overall, simple but awesome experience. Definitely worth a visit just for the location alone!

  Pretty meh experience here. We stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat, but mostly because we were urged by a local to try this specific location as it's considered a right of passage due to the location and view of the temple and mountains. Fantastic. Now that we got our right of passage out of the way, let's talk about the food and experience. Terrible is a good way of putting it. We waited quite awhile for our number to be called, watching many groups of people get called before us, when they showed up after us. Not a biggie, we're in Hawaii, so we're hanging and relaxing. Food finally arrives and it's... Terrible. Cold fries, and essentially had to assemble my burger myself, which also came with a mountain of old lettuce. About twice to three times the amount of lettuce you'd expect. It's very interesting that in a location as busy as this, that the food would ever have a chance to get cold, but it did. Prices are a little too elevated also. We paid ~$24 for a Big Mac meal and a Quarter Pounder sandwich. Skip it, braddah.

  The most incredible McDonald’s I’ve ever seen! ⛰️✨ Honestly, it feels like nature is giving you a huge hug here. The view of the mountains is absolutely breathtaking—they are so majestic and literally radiate energy. Just a heads-up: if you’re here for breakfast, you’ll probably have to wait a bit. But don’t stress about it! Use that time to put your phone away and just soak in the scenery. Between the misty peaks and the local chickens wandering around (as seen in image.png), it’s the most peaceful wait you'll ever have. If you want a side of soul-recharging views with your McMuffin, this is the place. Have a wonderful day everyone! ☀️
