They had all our items we went in for and we came out with some extra treats too! Driving from Haiku is not so tedious when the personnel are enjoyable to talk story with. It’s nice to be recognized and remembered.
- GAGeorgie AstronomoMay 6, 20261.0Store cashier assistant Austin did not wash his hands after touching his nose (he was wearing a mask) when asked for assistance with an item at the register, I asked him if he could wash his hands, he left and from afar announced that he was washing his hands, came back, did not touch my item but requested the amount on the item being purchased, I said thank you and did not get response from him, this employee showed an unprofessional attitude by being rude, no customer service etiquette, Iʻm an elderly local that shop at Safeway all the time, but today was the worse Iʻve experienced;, he acknowledged others but didnʻt even say thank you or even apologize for any confusion or his lack of ability to be nice and courteous to everyone, only who he chooses to be nice too. I reported it to the cashier at the floral department who said she will report it to the manager. I followed up with a call and was on hold for 1/2 hr. Not a happy customer

- KCKaren ChunApr 25, 20261.0They have now put all the over-the-counter drugs and liquor behind locked doors. You have to buzz for somebody to come and open the door. But nobody ever comes. The one time somebody came he was very rude. I will never shop for liquor or over the counter pharmacy items at this store again.
