- RRRav1 day ago5.0Kono’s—OMG, I absolutely loved this place! This is honestly one of the places I’d tell anyone visiting Hawaii that they have to try. I enjoyed it so much that I went twice! The pork is unbelievably tender and the flavour is incredible—that light, smoky BBQ flavour is just so good. I tried both the sandwich and the sliders, and while they had different flavours and textures, I genuinely loved both. I honestly couldn’t pick a favourite. The Dole Whip was delicious too, and the pineapple juice slaps! 🍍 Everything just worked so well together. The service was quick and efficient, which was another plus. But honestly, it’s the food that makes Kono’s stand out. I absolutely loved it and would happily go back again.

I got their signature macadamia coffee with coconut milk. It tastes very fake and apparently it just just poured from a big vat. I would recommend coffee elsewhere. It was decent quick food, but I've heard the north shore location is amazing
