  Really fast service here, which honestly matters more than people think when you've got a line of people all wanting ice cream at the same time. The woman working the counter when we went was so quick and so friendly. She kept things moving without ever making it feel rushed, and she was genuinely nice about it. That combination isn't easy and I noticed it right away. It's a perfect Waikiki stop. Easy to grab something after dinner or on your way back from the beach, and you're not standing around waiting forever. Would happily come back.

  The staff here don’t offer any recommendations or guidance. You’re basically rushed into making a choice. They talk among themselves and don’t seem to care that customers are there. It feels like they just want you to leave as quickly as possible. At least, that was the experience I had with the service. The ice cream was delicious, of course, but then again, ice cream can hardly be bad.

  First of all, this place doesn’t even deserve one star. The only reason I’m giving it one is because Google doesn’t allow zero-star reviews. Consider this a zero-star review. I’ve visited this location three separate times, and each visit was handled by a different employee. Despite that, the overall customer service was consistently unfriendly and unwelcoming every single time. To give just a couple of examples, on one visit I ordered a drink expecting it to be mango-based because that’s how it was presented on the poster. When I asked why it tasted completely different, I never received a friendly explanation. During that same visit, I also had to point out that I hadn’t received my full change. Neither situation was handled with the level of courtesy I would expect. I’ve been to Hawaii several times, and Häagen-Dazs is always one of my stops. I’ve visited other Häagen-Dazs locations as well, and I’ve never experienced service like this. What disappointed me wasn’t the drink—it was the consistently unfriendly attitude. After three visits, they had every opportunity to redeem my impression of this place. If even one employee had shown basic kindness, I would never have left this one-star review. Instead, every visit only reinforced my disappointment. Such a shame. Although English isn’t my native language, I chose to write this review in English so that as many people as possible can read it. I genuinely hope no one else has to experience the same consistently unfriendly service that I did.
