The rolls were top notch as was the paniolo beef brisket, which came with a slightly sweeter BBQ sauce than the Kālua pork sandwich (which was also outstanding.) This place is a winner.

Big Kahuna's obviously has all kinds of pizza, and my family members all loved their various "normal" meat and cheese pizzas. But what I can tell you is that when they say they have the best vegan pizza on Oʻahu, they're telling the truth, because my pizza was utterly delicious. Not only will I eat there again next time I'm on Oʻahu, it's so good that I would literally book myself onto a later flight back to Hilo to make sure I have time to get this pizza! 🤙

Ordered: -7” meat lovers -garlic cheese balls -triple d dessert Got the garlic cheese balls very quick! They were pretty good. There were 7 of them and that was a good amount. Pizza took about 25 minutes. Served very hot and was delicious!! Was small but filling. I asked someone about my dessert and a girl walked back and slid it across the table and walked away. lol it tasted pretty good. Half the restaurant area was closed off, I think for cleaning. They give a military discount if you spend more than $20.

However, my pizza was more in line with a school pizza. The crust was doughy and not crispy. The sauce was sweet and did not taste like it was fresh. It did not have a good flavor. Maybe I was being optimistic, but my experience was a total let down. I expected better after paying $25 for a 12 inch pizza.
