  It was a Monday at 10:00AM and they were out of many items including avocados…Avocados on an island where these trees grow in many people’s yards. I ordered the $19.00 Waimea Smash Burger. When it arrived, I noticed it didn’t have the fried onions. I mentioned this to the server and and she told me they didn’t come on that burger. When I saw the server go to the next table and check the menu to verify, she saw that they did but she didn’t say anything. I’m glad they have a bathroom, but it’s as filthy and dark as any dive bar I’ve been to. The clincher was when we were out saying goodbye to our toddler grandchildren in the parking lot. One of the kitchen staff that had been sitting outside started his truck to get us to move away from it because we were standing next to it while checking out a lime tree adjacent to his truck. We’re not going to touch your expensive truck. Aloha

  Our favorite coffee and breakfast on the island we went 3 times and got the burrito and breakfast sandwich. The Honu is magical and the French press and pour over are *chefs kiss* Made all of our adventures that much better

  A very quaint spot! Great service. The supplies were low (no cheese or meat available) the day we were there but they had a many other tasty options. I had the egg and spam breakfast and hubby had the pancakes, all were delish! The bathroom is a little rough but the place overall was clean and quaint!
