- MRM RAug 16, 20263.0I live a mile away and this is my quick stop grocery aside from Sam's club and it always feels like something of a gamble to shop here. I have brought home moldy bread and sour smelling milk (lactaid red gallon) the same day of purchasing food at this Safeway and it's unacceptable. With both being over 10 dollars and meat prices rising we don't want to waste our money to get food poisoning. The woman I brought the food back to was kind enough to pull the bread off the shelf but the milk is just another incident too many that this place is making me question if it's even safe to shop here. I avoid it but where is the quality control and who is actually making sure our food is fresh and stored properly?
