  I had a wonderful time today at Sunset Grill not only was the food great the service was awesome. We had a large party of all moms with strollers and they were so accommodating. Let us even sit down when the restaurant hadn’t even opened and created a space where we could all connect and have a great time. If you haven’t been here try it interacting with management and the servers was incredible. Thank you all so much. !!!

  Ordered the shrimp coconut curry and somehow they managed to make coconut curry taste like tomato soup, Completely watered down, zero flavor, and the shrimp tough (overcooked and more than likely pre-frozen) Then the drink came out tasting terrible, so I sent it back thinking maybe it was just a bad mix. Nope. They remade it and somehow it still tasted like cough medicine with ice in it. Impressive consistency, honestly. For the prices they charge, I expected dinner — not disappointment in a bowl and a cocktail that tasted like punishment. For $106 and some disappointment I will be taking my money to Chuck E. Cheese next time as the music and chaos will match the vibe there better. The only decent thing about the night was our server Carroll. She is top-notch.

  We were in town for the weekend and we heard that the oysters at Sunset grill were really good, so we had to check it out. It was only three of us but we wanted to try it all. The raw oysters were great and the baked oysters almost as good. We enjoyed the clam chowder, the grouper oscar style and the cajun pasta. The lobster grilled cheese was good. The cod was just alright, the snapper wasn't our favorite. Both the cod and snapper were overcooked. The cocktails weren't the best. But the service was great, we were the only ones that sat inside because of the love bugs. But the inside was a bit old and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. We're just glad we got us some good oysters.

  The teen-angst we met as hostess/host “greeting” to ask for a table, with attitudes that matched the pout on their faces, was interesting. 2pm on a Saturday and we were visibly laughed at (by her and her little friends sitting on the wall across from the station) when we asked for a table outside. 50%+ of the restaurant is outside, yet this was a laughing moment. “An hour” was the wait we were told. We watched tables being cleaned and people sat ahead of us. I’ve been to this place 75+ times, I even used the story of the boat crashing through the old building in my training seminars. I’ve never been met with this much disrespect from a greeting staff. Food is good. Servers, awesome. The spiteful snots who greet you… I own businesses and I’d be firing them before they could tick off another long time customer about to leave a review like this one. We’ll head across the street next time. They appreciate us at the door there. The shrimp across the street are bigger also, along with the hearts of the people inside. Poor business choices.
