  July 4th Mary was our server and she was fantastic. She heard us talking about how we got married here, had our first date here and asked to take our photo for posting. Oh an first kiss on the pier! Our food on the 4th was great, tried the lobster grilled cheese and it was so good, comfort food. Mary also made me a mango sweet tea. My son and his girlfriend were with us and they enjoyed themselves also. This is one of our favorite spots hidden in Ruskin!

  This was my first visit to this establishment,Plenty of parking 🅿️ spaces are available (Vehicles or Gulf carts)Short Waiting Time,clean atmosphere,Fair Prices ,Souvenir Cups Are available for purchase,Freshly Cooked food ,I had a great experience. Customer service was amazing,Ocean Views & so was the food 🥘 (ABIGAIL.F) was are server she did an amazing job…Thank you 🙌🏽! I totally 💯 recommend their [BACON 🥓 WRAPPED 🧆MEATLOAF] 🔥I will definitely be stopping by before I leave for another order 😋Compliments the COOK 👩🏻‍🍳🙏🏼

  I've been coming to Sunset Bar and Grill for about 7 years, and I would not be giving it too much credit to say that it's the reason why I moved to Ruskin. From the moment my wife and I came into Ruskin for a staycation in 2019 and stayed at what used to be a hotel in Little harbor called Harbor Suites, we fell in love with the atmosphere, the always great service we get, and the food and drink. Oh and should I also mention the key lime pie. :-) we've come for New Year's celebrations on multiple occasions, and have brought friends and family galore to enjoy the great sunsets with us. Plus the music, dance floor, and sunset toasts make this an awesome place to hang out.

  if you even think about parking in their parking lot they WILL fine you, i was there MAYBE 10 minutes talking to a buddy, standing by my car the entire time. the parking lot was fully empty besides us 2 and then i left right after, never went more than 5 feet from my car and didn’t cause any disturbances whatsoever. fast forward about a week and a half and i get a letter in the mail talking about an 85$ fine… terrible idc how good that food is that is just asinine

  This restaurant was overall average. It was not terrible, but not somewhere I would feel compelled to return. The service started off well, as our server was friendly and attentive. However, she chose to take a party of six orders from memory rather than writing them down, which unfortunately led to my order being missed. As a result, I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my food while the rest of the table had already been served. As for the food, I ordered the grilled grouper sandwich, which was just okay. I have had better versions at other restaurants, and it is not something I would order again. We opted to sit inside due to the hot and humid weather, though the ocean view was still a nice touch. That said, the floors both indoors and outdoors were noticeably slippery. I even witnessed someone slip and injure themselves, which was concerning and something the restaurant should address. Overall, it was an average experience with a few notable drawbacks.
