  Monty’s Raw Bar is a fantastic waterfront spot with a fun and relaxing atmosphere. The seafood was incredibly fresh, the drinks were delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. The beautiful bay views and live music made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s the perfect place to unwind with friends or family. I’ll definitely be coming back!

  Severe Food Safety Issue We come here from time to time and have generally had good experiences. However, today’s visit was completely unacceptable. We paid over $90 for a burger, a chicken sandwich, a soft drink, and an Aperol Spritz. The chicken tasted strange and looked unusually pale. Even worse, both the tomato and the bun on the chicken sandwich had visible black mold. The same thing happened with the burger: the tomato and the bun also had black mold, and the burger itself was completely bland. We immediately brought it to the staff’s attention, and they replaced the meal, but the new plate arrived in virtually the same condition. In the end, the only thing we were able to eat was the French fries. Despite serving us spoiled food and the fact that we were unable to eat our meals, they didn’t offer any discount or make any real effort to resolve the situation. We paid the full bill and left. I do want to mention that our server was very kind throughout the entire experience. She even told us that the kitchen had been making mistakes all day and that the manager had supposedly seen the condition of our food. Even so, no one came over to apologize or address the issue. They’re fortunate that I’m not the type of person who likes to make a scene, because serving food with mold is a serious food safety issue and the kind of situation that warrants a health inspection. As I mentioned, we’ve generally had positive experiences here. I don’t consider it an outstanding restaurant, and it’s definitely overpriced for what it offers, but it used to be a nice, casual place to visit every now and then. I sincerely hope they take this issue seriously and fix it as soon as possible so that no other customer has to go through an experience like this.

  Stopped in during the evening for a late dinner and ordered the mahi‑mahi and ahi tuna tacos. The food was solid, and the waterfront setting made for a really nice atmosphere. The staff was a bit slow to respond, likely because a 19% gratuity is automatically added to every check, so there isn’t much incentive for attentive service. Overall, was a pleasant experience.

  Monty's Raw Bar was a fantastic experience. Sitting by the docks, watching the boats go by and enjoying the fresh marine breeze, created the perfect Miami atmosphere. I met up with a friend and my husband, enjoyed well-made cocktails, and watched the Brazil vs. Japan World Cup match, which made the visit even more memorable. There were even a few Brazilian celebrities at the restaurant that day! The service was outstanding—every server we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I ordered the Cazuela de Mariscos, and while the variety of seafood was excellent and the portion size was fair, I'm giving the food 4 stars because the sauce tasted more like a marinara sauce than the rich seafood broth I was expecting. For a waterfront seafood restaurant, I missed that deep seafood flavor. That said, everything was fresh and enjoyable, and I would definitely come back.

  I just left this establishment where there were only 2 people at the bar including myself. I was given water upon arrival and waited for 25 minutes while the bartender stood in the corner with the waitress talking never approaching me again at the bar to place an order. I decided to just get up and walk next door to Bayshore club.
