  Pedí dos paellas me las traen con un arroz amarillo creo que precocido con mal sabor, unos mini langostinos qué mi mujer dilo eran decorativos de lo pequeño se me ocurrió abrirlos y si tan pequeños que hasta la tripa tenían, 83 dolares botados no regresaré en el 2022 me comí uno de los arroz mas ricos en este mismo lugar por eso estaba tan vacío.

  We were attended by an awful old lady. We asked her for what drinks she had and she pointed at the menu and said “Read”. We then asked her for a drink and she said they didn’t have it. Then we asked her for the coldest drink because it was extremely hot outside and she said that she didn’t know the temperature of the drinks. I’m never going back with that lady as one of their waiters!

  Monty’s in Coconut Grove had good, fresh food and a lovely view. I enjoyed the watermelon salad with blackened shrimp, and my mother had the minuta sandwich. We sat outside beneath a palm tree, but even in the shade, it was way too hot! Cooler weather would make it better.

  We come here often but this is the first time I wanted to right a review because we were lucky enough to sit with Mark P and he was just... the best. So patient, checked on us often, was very kind, helpful, refilled our drinks and was just overall such a pleasure to have as our waiter. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED APPETIZERS: - Gator bites - they're a bit chewy/gamey but the freakin breading and the sauce is so good and flavorful. Absolutely love these. - Calamari - the calamari is literally never soft, soggy or oily. it's always crispy. - Chicken wings - crispy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. literally no notes. LUNCH: - Blackened Mahi Sandwich - always my favorite, so well made and well seasoned. always hot and fresh, the bun is soft, the fries are crispy, the mahi literally tastes caught. - Ribs - the seasoning and sauce were delectable, meat was tender. - Paella - a small dish but it was PACKED and I mean super packed with fresh seafood. With the seasoned rice, the lime, everything was just in perfect balance for this one. DESSERT: Key lime pie (of course) rich, decadent, tastes like homemade key lime pie, the whipped cream was soft and fluffy. the pie was dense and flavorful. I could literally eat 10 of these.

  This is a waterfront bar & grill style restaurant, sitting on a marina on coconut grove. You have a view of the marina with a breeze, it is spacious with many tables and a large bar you can sit around. Service is good, menu is typical of a waterfront bar with several fish options, good beer variety. It has good atmosphere, a good hangout place for happy hour, weekend launch and hangout in the afternoon/dinner, have drinks with friends or people watch
