I got 1 large fry, 2 medium fries in place of the other 2, and no chicken sandwich at all. The rest of the order was fine. I called the store to get it fixed. The employee said there was nothing she could do over the phone, for the food or for a refund. Either way, I had to drive back in person to get either one. She hung up before I finished explaining the situation. No apology, no real help. The missing sandwich was part of my own meal, and my family was already eating dinner without me. Whether I went back for the food or just the refund, I still had to spend the gas and time on the drive, on top of eating cold or eating alone after everyone else finished. Disappointing experience for an $80 order.

Apple Pay showed the charge on my end, but the restaurant said the payment was declined. I showed them what I was seeing and waited 45 minutes trying to get an answer about my money and my order. Instead, I was threatened with having the police called if I didn’t move. A manager took my name and transaction ID, but I still left without the food or a clear explanation of what happened to the charge. My girlfriend recently had a C-section to deliver our twins, and this was the meal she asked me to bring home. Having to return without it after paying and waiting that long was incredibly upsetting. I travel a lot and have been to more than 30 Chick-fil-A locations. This was by far my worst experience. I’d like the Yucaipa location to look into the transaction and tell me how this will be resolved.
