- JBJackalyn BryantOct 7, 20261.0My son left his school backpack here on Friday. When we realized it was missing, I called Monday at 9:14 a.m. The employee asked me to describe it, then confirmed it was in their lost and found. He also told me whoever picked it up would need to describe it before it would be released. When we arrived Tuesday morning, we were told it was gone. The manager acknowledged that it had been there but said someone must have picked it up. When I asked him to check in the back, he refused. My mother returned later and spoke with 3 employees who all said they had seen the backpack. This backpack contained a brand-new Chromebook and my son’s schoolwork. I understand that my son was responsible for leaving it behind. However, once staff confirmed it was being held in lost and found and explained how it would be released, I reasonably expected it to be kept safe until we arrived. What is especially upsetting is the lack of concern or willingness to help after it disappeared. We still have no explanation for what happened. I have contacted corporate and requested a review of the cameras but still haven’t heard back from anyone.

We used the restrooms first, and both were extremely dirty. One even had used toilet paper on the floor. The water from the sink barely trickled out, and the sink itself wasn’t draining properly either. I let an employee know about the condition of the bathrooms, but he seemed completely unconcerned. We then went to order donuts and noticed flies inside the donut case. I pointed this out as well, and again, the employee didn’t seem to care. He said something in response, but I couldn’t understand what he was saying. At that point, my daughter and I were completely grossed out. Between the filthy bathrooms, the barely functioning and clogged sink, flies around the food, and the lack of concern from the employee, I couldn’t bring myself to order anything. As we were leaving, I actually looked back through the window, thinking the employee might at least go check the restroom after I brought it to his attention. Instead, he was just leaning against the counter, seemingly completely unbothered. I would not recommend getting food from this location. If the customer-facing areas are being maintained like this, it definitely raises concerns about the cleanliness of the areas customers can’t see.
