- MMMaceo McCallMay 9, 20264.0I gave 3 stars because I didn't have time to figure out what I wanted before the kitchen guy started asking how many patties I wanted. Even after I told him I wasn't sure ( because it was my first time there) he asked me twice more. I got a bit of an attitude but I did apologize before I left. Give your customers some time before aggressively asking about patties. Food was hot, fresh and delicious though.

Also, ordering toppings feels like building your own personality. By the time I finished choosing, I wasn’t sure if I was ordering lunch or revealing deep emotional traits. Either way, burger was great, identity crisis optional.

Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
