  Captain Mike here. I drove 1 hour and 15 minutes one way to try Joe's NY style pizza on Sunset Blvd. 2 slices of plain cheese and a coke in the bottle. It was well worth the drive up and the 2 1/2 hour drive back to OC in LA traffic. Javier is a pleasure to chat with. This place is great.

  Consistently the best Brooklyn style pizza I’ve had in LA since moving from New York in 2002. The crust is delicious, thin and crispy where it needs to be. The tomato sauce is excellent and the toppings first rate. Their pricing for a large pie cannot be beat!
